About The Position

The Loss Prevention Associate 2 supports the District Loss Prevention Manager and Store Management by carrying out core loss-prevention responsibilities, including acting as a visible deterrent to potential loss or dishonesty and wearing a company-approved body-worn camera. The role supports a positive customer shopping experience and strong partnerships between store teams and loss prevention. It requires sound judgment to protect personal safety, the safety of others, and the Company brand, while following company policies and values. The associate maintains a professional presence at the front of the store or in a department, greets customers respectfully, and responds to requests for help by directing customers to store management or customer service using a company-issued radio. The role also involves observing and reporting suspicious behavior or critical incidents, conducting a closing safety sweep with a member of management, and documenting required incidents in AIIM Case Management.

Requirements

Ability to stand for long periods of time.
0–2 years of retail or security experience.

Responsibilities

Maintain a proper and professional stance in the designated area at the front of the store.
Act as a visual deterrent to prevent potential loss or dishonesty.
Review and understand the Store Emergency Response Guide.
Wear a complete company-approved uniform, including a body-worn camera.
Greet customers appropriately and demonstrate courtesy and respect.
Establish and maintain a position at the front of the store or in a department.
Respond to customer requests for assistance by referring customers to store management or customer service via a company-issued radio.
Observe and report suspicious behavior or critical incidents to Loss Prevention or store management.
Perform a closing safety sweep of the store with a member of management.
Adhere to all Company policies and procedures.
Document required incidents in AIIM Case Management.
Perform other duties as assigned.
