About The Position

Broad River Retail is seeking a Loss Prevention Agent to join their Loss Prevention Team within the People Department. This role is crucial for protecting company assets, minimizing shrink, investigating theft and fraud, and ensuring adherence to company policies across distribution centers, retail stores, and corporate offices. The position requires a proactive approach, strong analytical capabilities, and a collaborative mindset.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
2 or more years of experience in retail, loss prevention, security, military, or law enforcement
Understanding of basic office applications including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Ability to navigate security camera systems (CCTV)
Able to be flexible with hours

Nice To Haves

First Aid/CPR/AED certification
OSHA-10/30 certification
Spanish speaking

Responsibilities

Be present during daily loadout in the warehouse to maintain control of damage and loss of product.
Conduct internal and external theft investigations, including interviews, surveillance reviews, and report preparation.
Monitor CCTV systems and conduct regular security walkthroughs in assigned distribution centers.
Serve as the local point of contact for the Operations team and provide conflict management for damaged or missing product.
Collaborate with Operations, Retail, Risk, and People departments to resolve incidents and implement corrective actions.
Facilitate safety audits, incident investigations, and assist in implementing solutions to prevent injury or property damage.
Provide status updates to the Manager of Loss Prevention and People Operations leadership.
Coordinate with the Manager of Loss Prevention to ensure safety controls are met in the Distribution Center, stores, and corporate office.
Coordinate with General Managers to ensure safety and security procedures are followed in the retail environment.
Support safety audits and compliance with OSHA and company standards.
Coach Distribution Center and Retail Operations teams on loss prevention, safety, and compliance practices.
Coordinate with the Senior Risk and Compliance Partner, Associate Director of People Operations, and law enforcement for incidents and asset recovery.
Champion a positive safety culture in regional stores and Distribution Centers.
Perform all other duties as assigned by the Manager of Loss Prevention.
