About The Position

The Loss Control Analyst is part of the Card Investigations Division of Operational Compliance at BancFirst’s Headquarters/Support Center in Oklahoma City. This is a team-based role supporting the card dispute investigation process from initial dispute through case completion, including chargebacks and representments, while maintaining compliance with Regulation E. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., at the BancFirst Tower in downtown Oklahoma City.

Requirements

• Ability to quickly gather information and make sound judgments.
• Dependability, self-motivation, and strong analytical skills.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and PDF documents, and the ability and confidence to learn new software and technologies.
• Understanding of bank policies and procedures.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and people skills, including the ability to communicate professionally by phone while investigating cases.
• Willingness to work in a team environment.
• Ability to perform in a highly sensitive environment and handle confidential matters.

Responsibilities

• Assist banks with card dispute questions, including completing dispute forms, understanding the investigation process, and checking investigation status.
• Process and monitor disputes from initial submission through case closure in a timely manner, including sending customer letters as needed to comply with regulations.
• Process and monitor chargebacks and representments.
• Monitor and track cases, ensure compliance with regulatory timelines, report losses to management, and identify fraud trends.
• Perform other job-related duties and special projects as assigned.
• Maintain regular, consistent attendance and punctuality.
