Long Term Substitute Teacher - High School Math
About The Position
Christian Heritage School is seeking a Long-Term High School Math Substitute Teacher to serve approximately from late October/early November through mid-February. The substitute teacher will maintain a safe, orderly, and positive classroom environment while the regular teacher is on leave. The successful candidate will follow established lesson plans and equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to function as mature, responsible Christians in accordance with the school's mission. The substitute teacher will be responsible for teaching high school mathematics courses, including: Geometry, Algebra, Pre-Calculus (Honors and College Preparatory sections, as assigned), Study Hall supervision, and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A clear understanding and acceptance of basic Biblical principles.
- An understanding of and adherence to the school’s Statement of Faith.
- A love for and understanding of children and young people.
- Demonstrated maturity and professionalism.
- Ability to work as a team member.
- Must submit to a background check.
Responsibilities
