About The Position

Wethersfield Public Schools is seeking a motivated and dedicated professional to serve as a Long-Term Substitute Grade 4 Teacher at Hanmer Elementary School. This position is vital to the school, involving regular and influential interaction with students, staff, and parents/families. Requirements

• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree
• Excellent oral communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills to interact with students, staff and parents
• Ability to plan and organize work schedule and set priorities
• Ability to work independently and with a sense of urgency
• Excellent classroom management skills with both small and large groups
• Ability to handle and treat information confidentially

Nice To Haves

• Appropriate CT Certification credentials are preferred, but not required
