About The Position

Middletown Public Schools is seeking a Long Term Substitute for a 6th Grade Science position at Beman Middle School. Requirements

• BA/BS degree.
• At least 12 credits in the content/area to be taught (if assignment extends beyond 60 days).

• Applicable CT Educator Certifications.

Responsibilities

• Teach 6th Grade Science curriculum.
• Provide instruction and support to students.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Benefits

• Salary of $142 per day for the first 60 days.
• Salary increased to Bachelor's, Step 3 daily rate starting the 61st day.
• Entitled to benefits on the 61st day in accordance with the MFT Collective Bargaining Agreement.
