About The Position

This role involves supporting classroom instruction and routines for multiple age groups, from Infant to School Age. The substitute will encourage independence and collaboration through hands-on, play-based learning. Key duties include assisting with instructional activities, supervision, meal/snack times, and transitions. The position requires maintaining a clean, safe, and organized classroom setting in line with school expectations, collaborating with teaching teams, and adhering to established lesson plans and schedules. Building positive relationships with children, families, and staff is essential, as is modeling professionalism, flexibility, and a willingness to assist where needed.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old
Awarded High School Diploma or GED
Awarded PDIS Level 2 or higher
6 months previous experience working with children in a licensed childcare program
Ability to adapt to different age groups, teaching styles, and classroom needs
Strong communication, reliability, and a warm, caring presence
Authorization to work in the United States
