About The Position

Utz is seeking a Logistics Wave Planner to support operations at a new warehouse. The role creates and manages wave plans in Blue Yonder Warehouse Management System (WMS) to help ensure efficient and accurate order fulfillment. The planner coordinates with warehouse supervisors, inventory control, and shipping teams; monitors orders and performance; resolves operational discrepancies; maintains WMS settings; and supports shipping-document and driver check-in processes. The position is listed for the Weekend Day Shift: Friday through Sunday, 5:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The posting describes a fast-paced warehouse environment and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, and bend. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience with warehouse management systems.
Strong understanding of supply chain and logistics best practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, and bend in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

Create and manage wave plans in Blue Yonder WMS to support efficient order picking and shipping.
Monitor and prioritize orders based on customer requirements, inventory levels, and shipping schedules.
Coordinate with warehouse supervisors, inventory control, and shipping teams to execute wave plans.
Track and analyze KPIs related to wave planning and order fulfillment, and identify areas for improvement.
Resolve issues or discrepancies related to wave planning, order picking, and shipping.
Maintain and update WMS configurations and settings to support wave planning.
Scan and upload the previous day's shipping documents in TMS.
Check in incoming drivers in Blue Yonder and confirm load details.
Identify process-improvement opportunities and implement best practices.
Perform other duties as assigned.
