About The Position

Five Rivers Analytics is seeking a Logistics, Warehouse & Asset Management Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the United States Border Patrol (USBP) in Tucson, AZ. The USBP, part of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), is responsible for securing U.S. borders. This role requires providing essential support for logistics, asset management, property management, and warehouse operations. The SME will ensure the necessary technical, supervisory, and administrative personnel are in place according to the delivery schedule and will be responsible for providing comprehensive logistics and warehouse support services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
  • 5 or more years of related experience
  • A valid driver's license
  • Must be able to pass a DHS Customs and Border Protections Background Investigation
  • Must be available to travel for this position

Responsibilities

  • Manage warehouse logistics operations, including receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and equipment.
  • Oversee shipment coordination, monitor inventory levels, and ensure adherence to safety regulations.
  • Conduct inspections of facility work orders to ensure proper completion of maintenance, repair, and enhancement tasks for the Technology Support Warehouse.
  • Assist with inventorying incoming and outgoing program-specific equipment, ensuring accurate tracking and documentation.
  • Provide support in inventorying incoming equipment designated for disposition.
  • Ensure completion of monthly Health and Safety Inspection Sheets and update the UTOC Health and Safety Teams page.
  • Oversee daily fleet management operations, including processing fuel and maintenance invoices in SAP, maintaining fleet folders, and ensuring vehicle readiness through inspections, cleaning, and fueling.
  • Prepare vehicles for dispositioning and identify equipment and supply needs.
  • Coordinate with San Angelo on fleet usage and repairs, and transport government vehicles for maintenance, repairs, and deployment.
  • Transport government-owned vehicles from various sectors/locations upon arrival of new Program assets and new fleet.
  • Ensure timely transportation of deployment vehicles to designated outlying areas.
  • Assume and execute responsibilities of a Local Property Officer (LPO) within the SAP system, ensuring compliance with regulations and policies.
  • Maintain accurate records and oversee the proper handling and accountability of assets.
  • Provide guidance and technical support to personnel regarding property management.
  • Monitor property-related activities and implement procedures to maintain the integrity and efficiency of the property management process.
  • Provide comprehensive asset management support services, including accountability across all phases of the asset lifecycle (acquisition, maintenance, disposition).
  • Oversee the receipt of package deliveries and perform detailed inspections to confirm completeness.
  • Oversee and manage deployment and sustainment activities, ensuring tasks are carried out according to established requirements, industry standards, and programmatic objectives.
  • Perform escort duties, cargo security, inventory and disposition tasks, forklift support, and vehicle transportation as needed.
