About The Position

The Logistics team at GF is currently seeking a professional to support the teams within the different warehouse areas and on-site Operations. The candidate’s core responsibilities are to be able to work in a warehouse environment efficiently and safely in order to provide the FAB with materials to meet the company’s goals. This role supports a 24/7 manufacturing environment and requires working assigned shifts, which may include days, nights, weekends, holidays, and rotating schedules, based on operational needs.

Requirements

  • Basic reading, writing and counting comprehension skills
  • Basic computer navigation skills - (i.e.Windows, Microsoft Office, Oracle, X-Site, Outlook)
  • Follow detailed instructions and procedures to complete tasks
  • Ability to perform work activities in a safe and responsible manner in line with all FAB9 EHS&S policies
  • Work independently and collaboratively with teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to effectively use time management to prioritize and plan daily work and scheduled activities.
  • Ability to work in a standing position for >85% of a 12-hour shift (excluding breaks)
  • Ability to walk on uneven surfaces for >85% of a 12-hour shift
  • Ability to lift, pull, and/or carry at least 50 pounds periodically throughout the shift
  • Ability to utilize computer (typing, visual screen time) for >85% of a 12-hour shift (excluding breaks)
  • Ability to work in a cleanroom environment per semiconductor protocol/requirements (Depending on job role)
  • Ability to answer the phone professionally
  • Able to wear upgraded PPE in accordance with GF safety procedures, including, but not limited to, safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, hard hat and safety vest
  • Ability to work in a chemical warehouse.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment including elevated heights (wearing harness and fall protection).
  • Ability to bend, crouch and reach under racks. 50 to 75% of a 12 hour shift (excluding breaks)
  • Ability to work outside (including inclement weather) less than 25% of the shift.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 4-5 years in warehouse, receiving, shipping, warehouse
  • Fluent in the English language written and verbal
  • Able to perform activities such as lifting, bending at the waist, stooping, climbing, reaching and kneeling.
  • Valid VT State driver's license
  • Able to stand for long periods of time, excluding breaks.
  • Operate Company Vehicles (Non-CDL)

  • Demonstrate the ability to follow detailed instructions and processes to complete tasks
  • Strong team player – works well within a global team

Responsibilities

  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements, and programs.
  • Perform manual and clerical duties related to the area assigned.
  • Must be trained in multiple areas.
  • Effectively communicate end of shift pass downs.
  • Support and engage in training activities.
  • Operate company box trucks for Chemical Deliveries on site.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain 49 CFR and Hazwoper certification.
