Logistics Technician II- Decking Department

As a Trex Logistics Technician, you will be responsible for unloading trailers, transporting and maintaining raw materials. This role is key member of our Supply Chain team. Requirements
- Must be able to work 12-hour shifts while sitting, walking, and standing for extended periods of time.
Nice To Haves
- Forklift experience is preferred.

Responsibilities
- Put safety first - always.
- Work as a team to drive our “people first” culture.
- Follow company safety policies and procedures and encourage other team members to do the same.
- Unload van and flatbed deliveries.
- Move materials to and from loading docks, delivery trucks, storage areas, and manufacturing areas.
- Ensure all incoming deliveries match the company purchase order and/or packing slip.
- Organize stock in the most efficient way using forklifts.
- Understand and be able to perform all job tasks in the receiving office.
- Assist in maintaining raw materials using the First-In-First-Out methodology.
- Perform housekeeping duties around raw material and packaging areas.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
