About The Position

The Logistics Support Associate provides essential administrative and operational support to keep daily logistics running smoothly. This role focuses on customer service, delivery tracking, scheduling, and warehouse coordination to support timely and accurate medical package deliveries throughout the greater DC metro area.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Clear and professional communication skills (phone and email)
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with frequent changes
  • Minimum of 1 year of dispatching experience

Responsibilities

  • Inbound call handling & dispatch communications: Receive and manage inbound calls using a multi-line phone system, and communicate with IC drivers and customers via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
  • Scheduling, route support & delivery execution: Schedule deliveries and support route planning using OnTrac logistics systems to keep daily dispatch execution moving.
  • Delivery tracking & on-time performance: Monitor, track, and update delivery statuses to support on-time performance and visibility throughout the day.
  • Issue/change coordination: Coordinate delivery changes or issues with drivers and operations staff to resolve disruptions and keep deliveries on track.
  • Warehouse sort coordination: Oversee and assist with the afternoon warehouse sort to ensure packages are accurately routed for delivery.
  • Customer service & documentation: Provide professional customer service by responding to inquiries and resolving issues/complaints; maintain accurate records and documentation related to deliveries, routes, and customer interactions.
  • General support: Support general office and logistics operations as needed.
