We are looking for a 2nd Shift Logistics Supervisor to help us by leading, coordinating, and optimizing daily warehouse operations. As a Trex 2nd Shift Logistics Supervisor, you will be looked to as an innovator in the manufacturing process and expected to ensure safe, efficient, and accurate execution of material handling, inventory control, and order fulfillment activities while driving team performance, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role is a key member of our Supply Chain team. Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a production or distribution environment.

Nice To Haves

  • An associate's or bachelor’s degree in supply chain or Logistics is preferred.
  • Previous experience as a Receiving Supervisor or Distribution Supervisor.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including inbound, outbound, storage, and material flow activities.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy through proper execution of inventory transactions, cycle counts, and system alignment.
  • Supervise and coordinate warehouse logistics technicians responsible for receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping activities.
  • Plan and manage daily staffing (full-time and temporary labor) to support operational volume and workload demands.
  • Partner with transportation, planning, and supply chain teams to ensure efficient flow of goods and on-time order fulfillment.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with all company policies, including Safety, Quality, and Human Resources standards.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive work environment that promotes engagement, accountability, and team performance.
  • Coach, develop, and evaluate team members through regular feedback, performance management, and development planning.
  • Address employee relations matters promptly and professionally, including performance improvement and corrective actions as needed.
  • Track, analyze, and manage key operational KPIs, including productivity, accuracy, labor utilization, and inventory performance.
  • Ensure payroll accuracy and support administrative responsibilities tied to workforce management.
  • Identify, lead, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Manage daily staffing of full-time employees and temps to support kitting lines, side tables, and supporting tasks for kitting.
  • Manage and provide ongoing performance, coaching, and professional development opportunities for the warehouse operations team.
