About The Position

The Senior Supervisor, Inventory Logistics will lead a team of approximately 20 direct reports within the collective bargaining unit on 2nd shift with our Material Distribution Center in Coralville, IA. This position is for 2nd shift which will work 3-11 with overtime as business needs dictate. Training will be on 1st shift 7am -3pm for approximately 4 weeks.

Requirements

  • University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in operations leadership and personnel management experience
  • Prior experience working in a bargaining unit environment
  • Proficiency with SAP, especially in inventory or logistics modules
  • Experience using AIMS or warehouse inventory tracking and reporting
  • Strong background in warehouse inventory management, including cycle counts and stock reconciliation

Responsibilities

  • Guide materials management and logistics activities to ensure materials are effectively stocked and deployed
  • Supervise the training of direct reports to ensure policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed
  • Implement and monitor inventory control systems to ensure effective logistics deployment
  • Audit Inventory levels to ensure availability of materials
  • Troubleshoot and reconcile large discrepancies to ensure compliance of standards, effective material management, and smooth logistics deployment
