Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent knowledge and demonstrated experience in lieu of education.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
High degree of flexibility.
Strong computer skills.
Minimum of 3 years of supervisory/management experience in an automotive or manufacturing environment.
Minimum of 3 years in logistics operations, preferably at an automotive lighting manufacturer.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the induction of all newcomers in his/her perimeter (temporary employees included).
Analyze flexibility and multi-skills needs of his/her logistic area, and define training plans to develop team autonomy and improvement spirit.
Monitor the certification process for each operator and update the flexibility grid in real time.
Manage daily situations including absenteeism, holidays, safety rules enforcement, environment risk analysis, and communication & performance boards update.
Perform weekly safety briefings and flash audits.
Ensure respect for traffic rules, with a focus on pedestrians where forklifts are operating.
Work with APU support departments to resolve identified problems in logistics or production areas (line feeding), including external warehouses.
Escalate to the Site Supply Chain Manager any problems likely to have a significant impact on logistics activities.
Handle other activities as directed by the Site Supply Chain Manager.
