To build a company that always keeps its promises. Responsible for providing customer support in relation to EF&I material issues both internal and external. Will assist in the development and implementation of new procedures for MSOLv and Gestalt and will be the material liaison between engineering, warehousing, and installation. Responsible for supervising logistics team members and guiding them through daily work activities or projects; monitoring employee performance to ensure maximum productivity.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, material management, or equivalent.
  • Requires organizational and communications skills as well as a thorough understanding of our EF&I processes.
  • High School diploma is necessary.
  • Understanding of various software packages including MS Word, spreadsheet/database programs such as MS Excel, MS Access.
  • Ability to quickly learn customer engineering databases and software.
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks and priorities and must be able to consistently work under and meet strict deadlines.
  • Must possess good leadership, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledgeable and proficient in the use of MS Word and Excel.
  • Ability to understand and effectively communicate with others.
  • Ability to work in a changing environment.
  • Ability to be sensitive to our customers’ needs and always remain customer focused.
  • The employee will be required to use his/her hands 90% of the time to type, write, and handle paperwork.
  • The employee must be able to distinguish between different colors.
  • The employee will be possibly riding in a company vehicle to and from customer sites, sitting at a desk 95% of the time with walking between offices and other work areas from time to time and working in tight spaces that include computer network infrastructure.
  • The employee may, from time to time, be required to lift weight (i.e., paper boxes and installation materials) up to 25 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less) is generally required, as the employee will be working at a computer, working with files & paperwork and working on specialized computer & networking devices.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands to finger, handle and feel computers and standard business equipment; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk; stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl; and climb and balance in high precarious places.

Responsibilities

  • Become the subject matter expert in the daily inputting and monitoring of the material logistics Gestalt and mSOLV system on a “real time” basis.
  • Point of contact for all emails and phone calls in reference to assigned projects.
  • Point of contact for lost and damaged material. Will interface with warehouse personnel, accounting department, and the customer for quick resolution.
  • Coordinates and fine tune CBM warehouse procedures, working with all necessary personnel.
  • Assist with the project management reporting.
  • Regular interface with Business Development/Sales and Warehousing/Logistics in the resolution of escalated material problems.
  • Learn and understand hierarchy of customer contacts and procedures.
  • Interface with customer representatives (customer logistics personnel, field engineers, vendor managers) on a professional basis – always remaining customer focused.
  • Interface with “internal customers” such as field engineers, installation supervisors, lead installers, and installation techs.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
  • Managing the workflow of assigned employees, overseeing team schedules and delegating tasks or projects.
  • Assessing the work performance of assigned employees and identifying areas that need improvement.
  • Ensuring that business goals, deadlines, and performance standards are met.
  • Training and onboarding new hires to make sure they understand their roles.
  • Setting goals for workers and recommend employees to management based on an assessment of their performance.
  • Reporting performance records and evaluations to HR and management.
  • Ensuring that communication between departments is ongoing and utilized to maintain an environment of continuous improvement.
  • Maintain constant communication with management, staff, and vendors to ensure proper operations of the organization.
  • Complete data collection to update operations metrics to achieve productivity targets, reduce cost per unit, eliminate errors, and deliver excellent customer service.
