Logistics Supervisor
About The Position
The North American logistics supervisor is accountable for the efficient execution of LiveTrends North American logistics operations. This person works cross-functionally within the logistics team as well as other department’s key stakeholders to ensure goods are moving efficiently, accurately, and in a timely manner. This person will coordinate all administrative and planning tasks associated with LiveTrends cross-dock operations communicating with third party vendors and internal stakeholders ensuring the success of that arm of the business. This role works in very close communication and shares responsibilities with the Logistics Coordinator, Logistics Manager, and Logistics Administrator. This person will routinely make decisions on behalf, and in the best interests of LiveTrends as it pertains to the disposition of goods as well as creative delivery solutions seeking to maximize the quality of delivered product to our customers with minimal extra costs. The ideal candidate for this role is calm and positive under pressure, open to constructive feedback, not afraid to question the status-quo, and seeks to “jump in” and help others even when not asked directly. They will understand the ultimate priority is the operation of our company and the success of our customers and will not get hung up on how things “could” or “should” be while still pursuing improvements in all areas. This person can communicate and work with people from all walks of life and at different levels.
Requirements
- Analytical thinking and problem solving
- Detailed yet concise communication skills with a wide variety of people
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and/or Microsoft’s Power Platform (pivot tables, lookups, nested formulas, logical reasoning, power platform)
- Calm and professional demeanor under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work nights and weekends as needed
Nice To Haves
- Forklift operation and/or warehouse experience is a bonus
- Bi-lingual with English and Spanish is a bonus
Responsibilities
- Coordinate, plan, and administrate LiveTrends XDock operations
- Route and plan LiveTrends’ customer delivery orders
- Oversee and assist in the day-to-day execution and planning of LiveTrends freight to our customers and other partners.
- Keep accurate and organized records of extra expenses related to internal and external logistics processes
- Track and report on certain KPIs pertaining to logistics to the LiveTrends leadership team
- Aid in maintaining professional and positive relationships with LiveTrends business partners
- Willing and able to work after hours logistics support where necessary both in person and remote
- Act as a functional backup for the dispatcher and logistics coordinator.
