About The Position

The Logistics Supervisor plays a critical role in supporting the operations of the Parts Department in accordance with the Repair Station Manual (RSM) and Quality Control Manual (QCM). This position is responsible for overseeing the ordering, receiving, shipping, tracking, and storage of all parts, as well as maintaining accurate records related to maintenance work orders and invoicing. The role may also involve visiting vendors and distributors to obtain necessary parts and tools. This role will involve working on a variable shift schedule, which will include weekend coverage.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a parts or inventory environment.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Familiarity with reading and interpreting work orders and parts catalog.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Valid Arizona driver’s license required.
  • Professional appearance and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; general computer literacy required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Effective interpersonal and team collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manager multiple priorities and work independently.
  • Strong organization skills and a commitment to safety and compliance.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in aviation or automotive parts is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure full compliance with FAA Part 145 regulations and United Aviate RSM/QCM.
  • Process parts requests form technicians efficiently and accurately.
  • Issue, receive, and deliver parts, tools and stock using computer-based inventory systems.
  • Manage parts ordering, shipping, receiving, and tracking processes.
  • Generate and track maintenance work orders and process related invoices.
  • Support inventory control efforts and conduct stock audits as needed.
  • Coordinate repairable parts for in-house repairs, vendor services, warranties, and core returns.
  • Maintain tool control, issue specialty tools, and manage toolboxes.
  • Communicate effectively with vendors regarding order status and availability.
  • Uphold strong time management and organization practices.
  • Work independently as needed while contributing to team objectives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
