Requirements

  • Thorough working knowledge of inventory and property control procedures.
  • Managing military reports, and managing over 50 personnel
  • Ability to read, interpret, and comply with detailed administrative procedures, instructions, regulations, and applicable publications.
  • Knowledge of computer operation; ability to type a minimum of thirty-five (35) words per minute.
  • Knowledge of the Aircraft Maintenance Material Readiness List Program and other applicable manuals/publications.
  • Working knowledge of NALCOMIS (OMA and IMA), SAP, and METCAL — windows-driven computerized logistics and maintenance systems.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite (Access, Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Experience creating pivot tables and utilizing VLOOKUP functions from multiple reports.
  • Strong multi-tasking skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent verbal and written/electronic communication skills.
  • Experience with computers, printers, and scanners.
  • This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) CAC (Commons Access Card)
  • Must have a valid state driver's license.

  • Experience with SharePoint, Power BI, and SAP preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervises various personnel working within the logistics department.
  • Provides assistance, guidance, and instruction to various employees within the Logistics Department.
  • Directs personnel to take corrective action required to improve logistical support for T-45 aircraft, including depot-level repair assets shipped to overseas vendors.
  • Provides guidance to Supply personnel to expedite aircraft requirements.
  • Directs subordinates regarding corrective actions, monitors for completion, and offers guidance as needed.
  • Recommends corrective action to lower-graded employees and monitors for completion.
  • Assists and provides training to subordinate personnel in Resource Management.
  • Validates and approves automated timecards, vacation requests, and personal paid time off for 35 personnel assigned to the department.
  • Maintains records of Government and Company-owned equipment, material, parts, and supplies for utilization and control.
  • Ensures METCAL (calibration programs) are complied with.
  • Applies technical knowledge of Company/Government supply, material, equipment, and tool control procedures, instructions, and regulations to ensure tool rooms and work centers meet operational needs.
  • Reviews, validates, and directs corrections required on 310 and 350 METCAL reports.
  • Gathers, collects, records, tracks, and verifies data and information from multiple sources.
  • Provides data and information to others as needed.
  • Performs general data entry using Microsoft Excel, SAP, and other systems.
  • Extracts and compiles various data files from Company and Government computer systems.
  • Organizes source information for application and reporting purposes.
  • Creates pivot tables and utilizes VLOOKUP functions from multiple reports.
  • Ensures report tables and listings accurately reflect required data.
  • Validates output and performs manual checks on data to ensure consistency and completeness.
  • Ensures documents meet required quality standards.
  • Identifies and informs management of errors in data or related documentation.
  • Completes all assigned data entry and tasks within a required timeframe while maintaining a high level of quality.
  • Communicates with data specialists to ensure accuracy and timely completion of reports.
  • Reviews and processes scheduled Contractor Data Requirement List (CDRL) submissions.
  • Prepares, reviews, and analyzes daily reports, including: Non-Mission Capable Supply (NMCS), Partial Mission Capable Supply (PMCS), Awaiting Parts (AWP), Warehouse Refusals, Replenishment reports, Requests to ICP for NSN, Due In from Maintenance (DIFM) reports, IOU reports.
  • Generates reports from the Naval Aviation Logistics Command Management Information System (NALCOMIS).
  • Researches and prepares PowerPoint presentations for special supply studies or reviews.
  • Coordinates with Maintenance and sub-contractors on items that become critically short, taking aggressive action to eliminate shortages through expediting to supply sources, local manufacture, or local purchase.
  • Identifies trends in material supply levels and determines if action is required to prevent potential problems or work stoppages.
  • Recommends corrective actions required to process all receipt rejections resulting from warehouse refusals and receipt control listings.
  • Approves purchase requests and commitments.
  • Coordinates with Quality Assurance personnel on all discrepant receipts and unsatisfactory new material, and prepares correspondence required to receive credit from supply sources.
  • Recommends corrective action(s) to alleviate immediate existing or anticipated problems.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
