We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Representative (AME) to support T45 operations in Kingsville, TX. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with high performance aircraft maintenance, compliance auditing, safety oversight, and technical inspection. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the safety, reliability, and compliance of all aircraft maintenance activities.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience within the last ten (10) years repairing or modifying high performance aircraft.
  • At least five (5) of the last ten (10) years as a Collateral Duty QA Representative (CDQAR AME) per COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2 series.
  • Qualified and experienced in removal/replacement of ejection seats, canopies, and explosive devices (I and O level).
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid state driver’s license
  • This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) CAC (Commons Access Card)

Responsibilities

  • Monitor contract compliance through audits and surveillance as defined in the QA Manual.
  • Perform in process and final inspections for safety of flight and other certified maintenance actions.
  • Investigate safety incidents and assist with Engineering Investigation Requests, QDRs, HMRs, TPDRs, and explosive mishap reporting.
  • Oversee support equipment operations and perform Tool Control Program spot checks.
  • Monitor Precision Measuring Equipment (PME) calibration program.
  • Review maintenance data to identify trends and problem areas.
  • Assist in creating work instructions, maintenance requirement cards, QA alerts, and technical correspondence.
  • Provide training instruction as required.
  • Manage daily FCF requirements, pilot briefs/debriefs, and documentation.
  • Support QA monthly, weekly, and quarterly reporting.
  • Review new technical publications for department applicability.
  • Comply with and monitor safety, FOD, Hazardous Waste, and Tool Control programs.
  • Maintain work center cleanliness and support safeguarding of government/company equipment.
  • May be required to perform off-site support or ADR analysis which may require travel.
  • Other duties as assigned.
