About The Position

CACI is seeking a Senior Logistics Specialist for the Global Mission Operations Support (GMOS) contract, supporting the Department of State. The role supports national security through advanced IT solutions and contributes to a program that modernizes and maintains applications and infrastructure using an integrated IT Service Management approach. The specialist will guide logistics operations and teams supporting geographically distributed operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 8 years of experience in a related field, or considered equivalencies.
• Active Secret clearance.
• Experience with inventory management systems, warehouse operations, and logistics reporting for large-scale operations.
• Expertise in international shipping, warranty management, and equipment accountability procedures.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills, including the ability to produce standard and ad hoc reports using inventory management data.
• Leadership experience planning and leading logistics operations, serving as a subject matter expert, and supervising warehouse teams.

Nice To Haves

• Experience supporting federal agencies, especially the Department of State.
• Experience with government property accountability systems and compliance with federal asset management regulations.
• Professional certification such as CSCP, CPSM, or CLTD.
• Knowledge of 14 FAM requirements, diplomatic shipping procedures, and logistics for overseas government operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide Government Task Managers with secure, web-based dashboards offering search and sort capabilities for order and item information.
• Produce standard warehouse reports and ad hoc reports in requested formats using inventory management system data.
• Maintain quality control in inventory processes, cooperate with Government inspections and inventory requests, and remain audit-ready.
• Maintain records confirming the transfer of equipment responsibility and accountability to receiving posts upon delivery.
• Recommend shipping methods for non-foreign locations based on cost, post preference, and urgency.
• Prepare shipments using information from CST and provide CST with inventory copies for review before shipping.
• Track items sent to manufacturers for repair and manage warranty fulfillment, escalating issues as needed.
• Lead logistics coordination across concurrent projects and manage complex supply chain requirements for geographically distributed operations.
• Develop and implement improvements to warehouse operations, inventory management, and shipping procedures to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Serve as a technical expert across projects, plan and lead major logistics initiatives, mentor junior specialists, and supervise warehouse operations teams.
