About The Position

TTGI is seeking a Logistics Management Specialist to support a U.S. Army aviation product office. This role is built for a logistics professional who brings direct experience with Type Classification (TC) and Materiel Release (MR) processes, understanding how Army systems move from development to approval, fielding, sustainment, and modification. This is a strong fit for someone who has worked in a PEO, PMO, Product Office, or Life Cycle Management Command environment and can contribute quickly in a fast-moving, compliance-driven setting. Location: Redstone Arsenal – Huntsville, AL

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship and a Secret security clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of relevant lifecycle logistics experience; additional directly related experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Direct experience supporting Army Type Classification (TC) and Materiel Release (MR) processes.
  • Working knowledge of AR 770-3 and DA PAM 770-3, including preparation, coordination, and staffing of TC/MR packages through the appropriate Functional Authorities.
  • Experience using MRTS to enter data, track conditions, monitor get-well planning, and support extension actions.
  • Knowledge of AR 750-10, including DA Form 7591, DA Form 7592, and the relationship between ECPs, MWOs, and approval workflows.
  • Strong coordination, communication, and Microsoft Office skills, including the ability to work across Government, contractor, OEM, and Army stakeholder organizations.

  • Experience supporting a U.S. Army Project Office, Product Office, PEO, PMO, or Life Cycle Management Command.
  • Experience supporting Army aviation platforms, subsystems, or mission equipment.
  • Experience planning or supporting VAL/VER events with Army users, OEMs, CASCOM, and Capability Managers.
  • Familiarity with logistics requirements development for contracts, including CDRLs, SOWs, and PWSs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate Type Classification (TC) and Materiel Release (MR) actions for Army aviation systems and modifications, including preparation, staffing, and follow-through of approval packages.
  • Manage Materiel Release Tracking System (MRTS) entries, monitor get-well conditions and suspense dates, and notify leadership when extensions or corrective actions are required.
  • Lead TC/MR Integrated Product Team (IPT) activities, including meeting coordination, briefing materials, meeting minutes, and action-item tracking.
  • Advise stakeholders on AR 770-3 and DA PAM 770-3 requirements and ensure TC/MR packages are complete, accurate, and routed through the appropriate Functional Authorities.
  • Coordinate logistics required for fielding and sustainment, including supply support, maintenance planning, provisioning, training, transportation/transportability, and fielding.
  • Support MWO and ECP actions, including package coordination, logistics impact planning, approval tracking, and system updates in MMIS.
  • Plan and coordinate validation (VAL) and verification (VER) events with Capability Managers, CASCOM, OEMs, test agencies, and Government stakeholders.
  • Prepare leadership-ready status reports, schedules, and briefings, and support logistics inputs tied to CDRLs, SOWs, and PWS requirements.
