About The Position

Uber Freight is seeking a high-visibility, customer-facing logistics professional for a role embedded onsite at the Schneider Electric office hub in Franklin, TN. You’ll be part of a fast-paced team responsible for ensuring shipments move smoothly across a complex, time-sensitive global supply chain network. In this role, you are not just monitoring freight—you are actively managing live shipments, tracking and tracing loads in real time, resolving exceptions, and driving performance improvements for Schneider Electric. You’ll work a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) with onsite days Tuesday–Thursday. Standard working hours are 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM or 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in transportation or logistics (A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or a related field may be considered in lieu of experience)
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Transportation, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management
  • 3+ years of logistics or transportation experience
  • Strong analytical mindset with exposure to BI tools (Tableau preferred)
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, track, and trace shipments using Schneider Electric’s Control Tower “hot board,” focusing on high-priority and at-risk loads
  • Provide real-time shipment updates and proactively escalate and resolve issues including delays, customs holds, missing shipments, and other exceptions
  • Maintain basic reporting and shipment visibility tracking, ensuring data accuracy across systems and tools
  • Participate in daily SIM and Control Tower meetings with carriers, plants, and distribution centers
  • Act as a key point of contact for identifying and resolving operational breakdowns across the network
  • Maintain accurate shipment visibility using internal tools and systems (Hot Board, Freshdesk, TMS, email platforms)
  • Lead weekly internal reviews to analyze shipment issues, resolution outcomes, and performance trends
  • Identify root causes of recurring issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Partner with carriers, plants, distribution centers, and internal transportation teams to resolve escalations
  • Ensure timely communication and accurate updates across all stakeholders
