Requirements

• Good math and computer skills.
• Customer service oriented.
• Well organized and detail oriented.
• A self-starter with initiative and proven willingness to assume ownership for areas of responsibility.
• Ability to make informed decisions quickly and independently.
• Strong inter-personal communication and employee relations skills.
• HS or equivalent required
• 2-3 years shipping logistics experience
• Familiarity with computer based (ERP, eShip or other shipping software platforms), required
• Familiarity with utilizing online customer shipping portals required

Nice To Haves

• Some college preferred
• Hazmat shipping experience/certification preferred
• Familiarity with Lean Operating Systems preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the shipping and logistics efforts for the Warehouse.
• Monitors/Coordinates shipping team activities/effectiveness.
• Assures shipping goals are met.
• Monitors sales orders, print picks, communicates with customers via ship portals and creates ship documentation.
• Coordinates with inbound and outbound carriers, processes sales returns, backorders, contests chargebacks, and ensures all customer service issues are handled in a concise and timely fashion.
