We boldly go. In this role, you will manage inbound and outbound freight management that comply to internal Logistics and Trade Compliance Policy.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Logistics required.
  • Knowledge of HS code classification.
  • Experience in import/export declaration.
  • Knowledge of Incoterms and shipment process of various mode of shipment.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for ensuring accuracy of import and export documents and HS code application in accordance with trade compliance regulations.
  • Maintain import and export control records and reporting for monthly self-audit.
  • Maintain facility compliance to hazardous shipment policies.
  • Manage priority shipments including research and error resolution of high priority orders, local carrier communications and relationships, DOT reporting compliance for facility yard drivers.
  • Establishes production manufacturing and distribution priorities for the customer demands consistent with master scheduling requirements, inventory objectives, and service level goals.
  • Coordinates manufacturing and distribution activities and monitors schedule performance against plan to maintain priorities and meet established schedules.
  • Meets daily with cross-functional team to resolve delayed customer shipments, component shortages, overtime, priorities, and identified problems.
  • Works the on time shipment daily miss report on a daily basis and updates the appropriate cause codes for service level reporting.
