About The Position

The Logistics Management Specialist will assist with material management actions, update material management records, and maintain asset visibility and equipment redistribution. This role involves providing work using subordinate unit facilities, attending and conducting briefings, meetings, and workshops, and assisting with inventories and data cleanup. The specialist will also prepare and submit reports, generate Internal Proposed Sourcing Decisions (PSD) to fulfill shortages or turn-ins, and assist with the matching process for losing and gaining units. Additionally, they will generate reports showing the status of all PSDs generated by the Commodity Manager.

Requirements

Minimum of six (6) years’ experience providing logistics support for major systems.
Minimum of four (4) years Army property book accounting experience.
Minimum of two (2) years automated experience using the Property Book Unit Supply Enhanced (PBUSE) system.
Functional experience in Army Logistics information systems including the Force and Asset Search Tool (FAAST), Force Management System Web Site (FMSWeb), Logistics Information Warehouse (LIW), Logistics Data Analysis Tool (LogDAT), Army Enterprise Portal (AESIP) must be demonstrated.
Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level.
US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
