To prepare the department so team members can receive incoming parts, transfer needed parts to production areas, and ship finished product as safely and quickly as possible in compliance with the quality policy. This role requires shift work, overtime, and punctuality. The associate must be alert and able to communicate effectively about process/product problems. They must demonstrate setup and maintenance of work in every process of their current area, oversee cycle counts/investigations, and support associates in meeting Team Leader directives. Minor responsibilities include teamwork, participation in company activities (IATF16949, ISO9001, ISO14001, Employee Involvement), effective communication with internal departments and outside resources, understanding and complying with company policies, demonstrating practical knowledge of the employee handbook, and working with minimal supervision. The role involves updating job knowledge through educational opportunities and maintaining 5S standards for housekeeping. Some travel may be required.
