About The Position

This role is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records to support manufacturing operations and customer demand. The specialist will analyze inventory levels, track transactions, investigate discrepancies, and perform cycle counts and physical inventories. They will also be involved in monthly closing activities, generating reports, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve inventory control processes and efficiency. The position requires adherence to company policies, safety requirements, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Requirements

Accurate inventory records for raw materials, semi-finished goods, finished goods, and packaging materials
Analyze inventory levels, usage trends, and material requirements
Track inventory transactions throughout the ERP system
Investigate, reconcile, and resolve inventory discrepancies
Perform scheduled cycle counts, physical inventories, inventory audits, and inventory reconciliations
Prepare and complete monthly inventory closing activities
Generate and analyze inventory reports, KPIs, and inventory metrics
Work closely with cross-functional teams
Participate in meetings and cross-functional projects
Assist with departmental operations
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with 5S standards
Perform all duties in accordance with established inventory control procedures while maintaining compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental (HSE), quality, and productivity standards.

Responsibilities

Monitor, review, reconcile, and maintain accurate inventory records for raw materials, semi-finished goods, finished goods, and packaging materials to support manufacturing operations and customer demand.
Analyze inventory levels, usage trends, and material requirements to ensure adequate stock availability while minimizing shortages, excess inventory, and production disruptions.
Track inventory transactions throughout the ERP system to ensure inventory accuracy and timely processing of receipts, transfers, issues, adjustments, and shipments.
Investigate, reconcile, and resolve inventory discrepancies by analyzing transaction history, performing root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions.
Perform scheduled cycle counts, physical inventories, inventory audits, and inventory reconciliations to maintain inventory integrity and compliance with established inventory control procedures.
Prepare and complete monthly inventory closing activities, including inventory reconciliations, variance analysis, inventory valuation support, and required reports.
Generate and analyze inventory reports, key performance indicators (KPIs), and inventory metrics to identify trends, improve inventory accuracy, and support operational decision-making.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improving inventory control processes, material flow, warehouse organization, and overall inventory management efficiency.
Participate in meetings and cross-functional projects to communicate inventory concerns, recommend process improvements, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Assist with departmental operations as required to maintain workflow, support production requirements, and respond to urgent operational needs.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
