This is a 1-year contract, on-site position for a Logistics Drayage Management Staff member. The role involves monitoring and managing the drayage process for shipment movement, including receiving arrival notices, handling ISF information, creating delivery orders, and managing empty container returns. The position requires managing relationships with drayage carriers, communicating in emergencies, and finding alternative carriers when capacity is limited. Daily container delivery schedules are to be shared with carriers. The role also involves analyzing and tracking LSPs, monitoring customer service goals, and finding solutions for pre-pull yards. Monthly reporting on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for drayage deliveries is required, along with checking and sharing delivery status with customers. Documenting corrective actions and performing ad-hoc reporting are also part of the duties.
