Requirements
- Previous dispatching, transportation coordination, or logistics experience preferred.
- Familiarity with the transportation of agricultural, construction, or industrial equipment preferred.
- Basic understanding of Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Commitment to providing exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and effectively manage competing priorities.
- Candidates must have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
Responsibilities
- Schedule, track, and prioritize transportation requests to ensure timely and efficient delivery of equipment and products.
- Coordinate haul assignments and optimize trucking resources to maximize efficiency and support customer needs.
- Work directly with carriers and vendors regarding load assignments, schedule changes, and shipment status updates.
- Maintain transportation documentation and permit requirements to support regulatory compliance.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for transportation requests, shipment updates, and operational questions.
- Represent RDO Equipment Co. professionally while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and customer service.
