About The Position
We are seeking a Dispatcher / Logistics Analyst to coordinate daily transportation operations and support logistics analysis for a fast-paced produce warehouse. This position is responsible for scheduling shipments, tracking deliveries, communicating with drivers and customers, and analyzing logistics performance to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements
- Experience in transportation, logistics, dispatching, or produce operations preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and logistics systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily pickups and deliveries.
- Dispatch and monitor drivers and carriers.
- Track shipments and resolve transportation issues.
- Schedule appointments for loading and unloading.
- Maintain communication with customers, carriers, and warehouse staff.
- Prepare and verify shipping documents (BOLs, PODs, etc.).
- Monitor delivery performance and on-time metrics.
- Analyze transportation costs and logistics KPIs.
- Generate operational and performance reports.
- Identify opportunities to improve routes, service levels, and cost efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and food safety requirements.
