About The Position

As a Logistics Coordinator at Allen Lund Company, you will support daily freight brokerage operations alongside Transportation Brokers. You will manage active loads, use digital tools and the company’s proprietary transportation management system (TMS), and help ensure shipments move smoothly. The company provides full training on its proprietary TMS. The role includes coordinating pickups and deliveries, tracking shipments and communicating updates, building relationships with carriers, maintaining compliance records, and supporting branch accounting and office workflows. You will provide high-touch customer service while working in a fast-paced, technology-forward environment.

Requirements

Strong, practical command of Google Workspace, including Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Drive, and Calendar.
Strong attention to detail when managing load data, compliance records, and financial documents.
Self-motivated, enthusiastic team player able to thrive under pressure in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
Comfort with modern technology and digital tools.

Responsibilities

Build loads, schedule pickup and delivery appointments, and set up vetted carriers within digital platforms.
Conduct proactive update and check calls with carriers, track active shipments, and provide real-time updates to shippers and customers.
Contact carriers about lane availability, equipment types, and capacity, and build strong carrier relationships.
Request and verify insurance certificates, handle rate confirmations, and keep carrier resources updated.
Support branch accounting by matching invoices and issuing Com-checks or Quick Pays.
Use digital tools to support daily office workflows.
Deliver customer support in accordance with the company principles of Customer, Company, and Office.
