Requirements

Must have a current Iowa Driver's license and ability to obtain Class A CDL.
Maintain current knowledge of DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

Work in a safe and efficient manner, according to AgState safety policies.
Demonstrates work habits that develop, build, and support the team concept within the organization.
Plan, schedule, and coordinate feed deliveries with AgState drivers and contracted carriers, using logistics software to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
Manage feed delivery documentation, update logistics databases, and ensure compliance with feed safety and traceability regulations.
Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly logistics reports, including proper trailer sequencing and flushing of medicated feeds.
Coordinate multi-stop deliveries efficiently to optimize routes and reduce costs.
Clearly communicate consistently with drivers, production teams, and internal sales staff.
Build and maintain strong, positive working relationships with independent owner-operators and contract haulers.
Report unsafe conditions, practices, or violations of company policies to management.
Stay current on Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and transportation compliance.
Support logistics needs at other AgState locations as necessary.
