About The Position

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for organizing and ensuring efficient transportation and storage solutions throughout the full supply chain lifecycle—from raw material acquisition to final product distribution. This role coordinates domestic and international shipments, supports daily logistics operations, and ensures timely and cost-effective delivery of goods. The position requires working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing complex transportation scenarios. The Logistics Coordinator collaborates with internal and external stakeholders, monitors shipments, resolves issues, and uses business tools and data analysis to optimize logistics processes. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, independence, attention to detail, and excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Basic data analysis and reporting skills
Ability to operate computer systems and logistics tools
Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
Strong interdepartmental communication skills
Proactive problem identification and resolution abilities
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage changing priorities effectively
Problem-solving skills in both routine and moderately complex situations

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree preferred
1–2 years of logistics/transportation or operations experience preferred (not required)

Responsibilities

Review, prepare, and route domestic and international orders
Coordinate and ensure safe, timely pickup and delivery of shipments
Monitor shipments, timelines, and productivity; communicate delays to stakeholders
Respond to internal and external customer inquiries
Assist in resolving shipment, inventory, and logistics-related issues
Support daily freight operations, including coordination with carriers, customer service, and manufacturing
Book and manage logistics services for domestic and international transportation
Analyze transportation reports to support cost-effective logistics decisions
Assist in securing competitive freight rates
Utilize basic data analysis and reporting to support decision-making
Support optimization of transportation processes and procedures
Build and maintain effective working relationships through proactive service
Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned
