This position is for the Product Distribution Center (PDC) at the Athens, GA site.

Requirements

  • Must have manufacturing experience
  • Must have "Meets Expectations" or higher in last 2 performance evaluations (as applicable)
  • Willing and able to operate heavy equipment
  • Willing and able to sit or stand for prolonged periods
  • Willing and able to perform repetitive operations
  • Willing and able to lift up to 35 lbs.
  • Willing and able to work in outdoor conditions (Majority of work (90%) is in outdoor conditions.)
  • Intermediate proficiency (Basic skills/knowledge. Capable of functioning independently) using Standard Assembly tools (torque wrenches, pneumatic tools, etc.) and their applications.
  • Intermediate level of proficiency (Basic skills/knowledge. Capable of functioning independently) working with Standard Operating Procedures or Standard Work
  • Basic computer skills such as operating a computer in a Windows based environment
  • Ability to read/write and interpret documents
  • Experience working in a team-based environment

Responsibilities

  • Use various tools provided in the work area to perform assigned duties
  • Use lifting devices to move heavy components of weights of more than 35 lbs.
  • Operate various models of construction equipment
  • Loads/ unloads Prime Product to and from transport carriers & containers
  • Follows documented procedures standard work, routings, and blueprints to perform safe and defect free tasks and adjustment of components and prime product.
  • All other work-related duties as assigned by leader
