The Long-Baseline Neutrino Facility (LBNF) / Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment (DUNE) Project is seeking a team member to join the Fermilab team as a Logistics Coordinator. This is a three-year term position located in Lead, SD, with the possibility of extension based on funding. The LBNF/DUNE Project, hosted by Fermilab, involves international collaboration and aims to construct the world's largest proposed neutrino experiment. The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring the receipt and transport of materials from storage locations to the project site at SURF, maintaining accurate records of shipments, inventory, and logistics activities. The role involves assisting in distribution plans, managing contractor relations, coordinating supply from offsite storage, and providing assistance to stakeholders. The position requires verifying received goods, resolving discrepancies, inspecting project materials, conducting inventory audits, and managing documentation for received goods, all while adhering to environmental, health, and safety regulations.
