About The Position

Kiddie Academy is seeking a caring, energetic, and dedicated 3-Year-Old Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood education and committed to creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment where children can grow socially, emotionally, physically, and academically. Teachers are responsible for implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum, maintaining classroom management, and fostering positive relationships.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required.
Ability to meet state licensing requirements for childcare professionals.
Current CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain certification.
Strong communication and classroom management skills.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
Understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practices.
Ability to create engaging learning experiences for preschool-aged children.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Positive attitude and professional demeanor.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism with families and staff.

Nice To Haves

Early Childhood Education coursework preferred.
Previous experience working with preschool-aged children preferred.
Knowledge in NAEYC & QRIS Standards

Responsibilities

Provide a safe, healthy, and nurturing classroom environment for children ages 3-4.
Plan and implement age-appropriate lessons and activities in accordance with Kiddie Academy curriculum standards.
Encourage learning through play, exploration, and hands-on experiences.
Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
Observe and document children's progress and developmental milestones.
Maintain daily communication with parents regarding their child's activities, accomplishments, and needs.
Establish positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers.
Ensure compliance with all state licensing regulations and Kiddie Academy policies.
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment.
Supervise children at all times, including classroom activities, playground time, meals, and rest periods.
Assist children with self-help skills, including toileting, handwashing, and meal routines.
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
Respond appropriately to emergencies and child-related incidents as needed.
