We are seeking a detail-oriented and hardworking Logistics Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate can function in a fast-paced environment and will oversee all supply chain and customer support functions of the business. Title: Logistics Coordinator Department: Operations / Supply Chain Reports To: Logistics Manager or Director of Operations Position Overview: The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing all inbound and outbound freight activity, ensuring materials and finished goods move efficiently, cost-effectively, and accurately between vendors, the factory, and our customers. This position requires exceptional organization, communication, and accountability when coordinating with freight brokers, vendors, and internal teams.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in logistics coordination, freight brokerage, or supply chain operations (manufacturing experience preferred).
  • Strong understanding of freight logistics, including LTL, FTL, and small parcel shipments.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills with strong follow-through.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to cost accuracy and shipment validation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and standard business software.
  • Understanding and ability to drive or learn to drive forklift.

Responsibilities

  • Book outbound deliveries to customers through approved freight brokers.
  • Schedule inbound deliveries of raw materials and components to the factory.
  • Verify all freight information, including shipment dimensions, weights, and classifications, for both vendor and customer shipments.
  • Enter and maintain Purchase Orders (POs) for all freight bookings in the ERP system.
  • Hold freight brokers accountable for quoted rates, service quality, and on-time performance.
  • Communicate proactively with internal departments regarding shipment status, expected delivery dates, and any exceptions or delays.
  • Confirm that all shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading, packing slips, and freight quotes, is accurate prior to shipment.
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to ensure materials and shipping information are correct for every load.
  • Track and resolve freight-related discrepancies, billing issues, or delivery concerns.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to streamline logistics processes and reduce freight costs.
