About The Position

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for supporting all shipping, receiving, and material movement activities to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant handling of goods. This role verifies incoming and outgoing shipments, maintains records, coordinates transportation, and ensures alignment with customer, supplier, and internal requirements.

  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Basic to intermediate computer skills, including spreadsheets and word processing
  • U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance (if required)
  • Ability to secure Program Access approval

Nice To Haves

  • 3–5 years of shipping, receiving, or logistics experience preferred
  • Experience operating forklifts or similar material handling equipment preferred
  • Ability to obtain CDL-B if needed

Responsibilities

  • Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against bills of lading, purchase orders, invoices, and other documentation
  • Package and ship products in accordance with customer and supplier specifications
  • Receive, unload, and distribute incoming materials to appropriate locations
  • Coordinate shipments with freight carriers and arrange pickups and deliveries
  • Complete bills of lading and maintain accurate shipping documentation
  • Perform inventory and purchase order receiving transactions within the system
  • Transport materials to and from customer and supplier locations as needed
  • Coordinate material movement between production, warehouse, suppliers, and customers
  • Maintain accurate shipping and inventory records and ensure proper record retention
  • Navigate customer systems to obtain shipment documentation, labels, and requirements
  • Ensure compliance with hazardous materials handling and shipping regulations, including domestic and international requirements
  • Support packaging efforts, including building boxes, crates, and cartons for shipment
  • Maintain housekeeping standards within shipping and receiving areas
  • Perform basic preventative maintenance on equipment and company vehicles
  • Support cross-functional teams to align scheduling, packaging, and material flow
  • Work overtime as needed to support operational requirements
