About The Position

RunBuggy is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to act as a trusted advisor for their customer base, primarily individual consumers. This role involves educating customers about vehicle transportation, keeping them informed throughout the process, and resolving issues when exceptions arise. The Logistics Coordinator will interact directly with customers via phone, video calls, and written communication to answer questions, solve problems, provide education, and maintain the company's reputation for high-quality service. The vehicles being transported can be unique, valuable, or have sentimental importance, requiring a careful and attentive approach. This is a full-time, in-office position requiring a commitment to an in-office schedule, including the possibility of working a weekend day. The role is responsible for coordinating with transporters through the RunBuggy platform.

Requirements

  • Ability to handle a variety of duties in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive, service-oriented, problem-solving attitude.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, and confidence researching and using the internet.
  • Excellent organizational skills, along with professionalism and diplomacy with internal and external customers/vendors.
  • Ability to recognize problems, strategize and problem solve.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time, and work under tight deadlines.
  • Understanding of performance-based metrics.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • Hospitality and concierge level experience preferred.
  • Automotive, logistics, or transportation experience a plus, deep automotive enthusiasm is a strong fit for this role
  • Hands on experience using Artificial Intelligence tools helpful.
  • Aptitude for acquiring skills in technical troubleshooting along with an eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Spanish or Canadian French language skills a plus.
  • Call Center experience helpful.

Responsibilities

  • Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound phone calls, emails, or in-platform communication ensuring pickups and deliveries are on schedule as it relates to orders handled through our cloud-native platform and smartphone app.
  • Educate and inform users who may be unfamiliar with the requirements or expectations about having a vehicle moved, including what to expect in working with a transporter and how long it may take.
  • Recognize and solve for nuanced and unique requirements for vehicle handling or scheduling needs; deep automotive enthusiasm helps here!
  • Solve problems and respond promptly, keeping necessary stakeholders informed with a high level of professionalism.
  • Seek out necessary information and coordinate with internal and external sources to adequately solve problems.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of all company products and services to provide adequate education to customers.
  • Coordinate with internal team members and partners to improve our services, processes, and platform.
  • Build enthusiasm and usage in our products and services to help shippers and transporters move cars smoothly.
  • Foster and maintain relationships with customers to improve our retention rate.
  • Attend all required customer service-related meetings.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
