About The Position

Reporting to the Supply Chain team, the Logistics Coordinator Co-op is responsible for supporting the movement of goods globally to meet manufacturing and project requirements. Working collaboratively with internal teams, suppliers, carriers, and customs partners, the Logistics Coordinator Co-op will assist in ensuring shipments are delivered efficiently, on schedule, and within budget. This role provides hands-on exposure to international logistics, transportation planning, customs processes, and supply chain operations while contributing to the Eclipse Vision and Entrepreneurial Culture.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a University degree or College diploma program in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Operations Management, or a related field
• Strong interest in transportation, logistics, and global supply chain operations
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Professional verbal and written communication skills required
• Students should be enrolled in a post-secondary academic program requiring a co-op/work term

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of shipping documentation, customs processes, or international trade is considered an asset
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP or Oracle is considered an asset
• Experience working collaboratively within cross-functional teams is considered an asset
• Committed to continuous improvement and process optimization

Responsibilities

• Support the coordination of carrier partners, including shipment routing, quoting, scheduling, and tracking activities
• Assist with the creation and management of shipping documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and related transportation records
• Work with customs brokers to support the timely clearance and release of shipments
• Support the evaluation and selection of cost-effective transportation solutions
• Assist in the development and maintenance of transportation and logistics processes
• Monitor shipment status and help ensure continuity of supply, escalating constraints and delays as appropriate
• Support the maintenance of strong business relationships with suppliers, carriers, and logistics partners
• Assist with cost reduction initiatives and transportation cost tracking activities
• Support reverse logistics activities for failed, surplus, or non-required materials
• Develop an understanding of Eclipse products, supply chain operations, and transportation technologies
• Stay informed on emerging supply chain and logistics technologies and industry trends
• Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in both office and manufacturing environments while actively participating in team meetings
• Complete other duties and projects, as assigned
• Ensure scheduled milestones are met and communicate potential risks or delays
• Adhere to the Eclipse Project Operating Policy
