About The Position

Teknor Apex is hiring a Logistics Associate to perform warehouse and shipping functions, including storing products, preparing orders, loading and unloading materials, receiving shipments, and maintaining inventory. The role also supports warehouse space utilization, pallet coordination and repair, and other related tasks. The associate must follow department SOPs, maintain housekeeping, and ensure shipments comply with DOT regulations. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Overtime may be required with short notice.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Ability to operate a forklift and at least 2 years of experience.
Computer skills as required for the role.
Training and familiarity with shipping hazardous materials.
Basic math skills.
Ability to stand for long periods and squat, bend, twist, and turn as needed.
Good manual and mechanical dexterity.
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
Ability to meet applicable productivity standards and maintain regular, punctual attendance.
Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

Put away and store products.
Pick up products from production and put them away.
Understand the warehouse layout and assist with space allocation and utilization.
Transfer inventory when required.
Pick and prepare orders, including labeling, documents, special instructions, Certificates of Analysis, and lab samples.
Load and unload hose, compound, and raw materials.
Receive shipments and verify purchase order numbers, counts, six-digit codes, and other details; maintain knowledge of raw materials and related records.
Perform cycle counts and process returns.
Coordinate and repair pallets.
Ensure all shipments meet DOT regulations.
Maintain housekeeping.
Know and follow department SOPs and other applicable procedures.
Work overtime with short notice as necessary.
Train other employees in these or related duties.
Assist with other jobs as needed.
