About The Position

Ecolab is seeking a Logistics Associate I to join their team in High Point, North Carolina. This role is crucial in supporting shipping, receiving, inventory, and warehouse operations. The associate will be responsible for ensuring customer orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on time. This is a hands-on position offering opportunities for skill development in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent
1 year of stand-up forklift operating experience
1 year of plant or warehouse experience

Nice To Haves

Experience using Raymond-Brand stand-up forklifts
Strong communication and time management skills
Experience working independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

Pick customer orders using a scanner or tablet and stack them onto pallets.
Stage and label completed orders accurately for shipment.
Operate material handling equipment such as manual and electric pallet jacks, reach trucks, and propane lifts.
Verify product quantities, labeling, and packaging quality against packing lists and SAP records.
Inspect packaging and contents for damage or quality issues.
Coordinate with customer service, production, and packaging teams to ensure order accuracy and timely fulfillment.
Assemble shipping boxes, prepare labels, and manage packaging induction.
Load trailers with packed boxes and pallets for outbound shipments.
Identify and report quantity discrepancies to the Supervisor or Lead.
Maintain a clean and organized picking area using 5S principles.
Support inventory control by updating databases and participating in cycle counts.
Ensure the freight sorting area is organized and follows established stocking guidelines.
Follow all warehouse safety procedures and policies.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support logistics and warehouse operations.
