A Logistics Analyst is responsible for the coordination and oversight of drivers, trucks, and containers to create capacity, maximize productivity and ensure prompt, courteous and efficient service to all customers. Additional responsibilities include the oversight of safety, customer experience, and productivity. The role involves analyzing daily route information, implementing changes for efficiency, and responding to same-day or next-day planning needs. The analyst will also manage driver safety, evaluate logistics data for decision-making, and maintain communication with drivers. They will address missed pickups, optimize routes for profitability, monitor daily routing activities, and assess the need for swing routes. The position requires the ability to adapt to unexpected situations and understand disposal plans to ensure drivers adhere to assigned sites. Collaboration with the Operations Manager on disposal plans and determining service request prioritization for efficiency and customer experience are also key aspects of the role. The analyst will also perform other job-related duties as assigned.
