About The Position

The Mission Readiness team at Anduril is seeking a Logistics Analyst to build the supply support, support equipment, and packaging data for their air and missile defense products. This role involves producing logistics product data across Supply Support, Support Equipment, and Packaging, Handling, Storage & Transportation (PHS&T) elements. The analyst will be responsible for building provisioning data, support equipment data, and ammunition lifecycle documentation. Starting with an empty database, the analyst will develop a production-ready logistics baseline throughout the development effort. This is a data and analysis-focused role requiring the use of government logistics modeling and Logistics Product Data tools, collaboration with design engineering, Product Support Engineering, and test teams. The position is in-person and requires periodic domestic travel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, logistics, supply chain, or a related technical field (equivalent military logistics experience may be substituted).
  • 3+ years of product support, integrated logistics support, or sustainment experience in a military and/or defense industry environment.
  • Working knowledge of DoD Integrated Product Support and the twelve IPS elements, with hands-on depth in supply support, support equipment, and PHS&T.
  • Experience developing government logistics deliverables against Data Item Descriptions and CDRLs.
  • Experience with provisioning and cataloging: National Stock Number, CAGE code, part number structures, and provisioning parts lists.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one logistics modeling or Logistics Product Data application (e.g., Power Log-J, SlicWave, Tempo, COMPASS, or Relyence) and the demonstrated ability to learn others.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, parts lists, and bills of material.
  • Clear, direct technical writing skills.
  • Comfort working independently.
  • Able to travel up to 25% domestically.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret clearance.
  • Must be a U.S. Person.

Nice To Haves

  • Direct experience with munitions, missiles, rockets, or energetic materials sustainment.
  • Experience preparing ammunition lifecycle documentation and supporting hazard classification and storage planning.
  • Working familiarity with GEIA-STD-0007, MIL-STD-2073-1, MIL-STD-129, MIL-STD-1366, and MIL-STD-130.
  • Experience with logistics management information data products or government logistics information systems.
  • Experience supporting a logistics demonstration, configuration audit, or first article inspection.
  • Military background in an ordnance, ammunition, explosive ordnance disposal, or logistics role.
  • Experience supporting a prototype-to-production transition.
  • Familiarity with how FMECA, level of repair analysis, maintenance task analysis, and reliability-centered maintenance outputs drive provisioning, support equipment, and packaging decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Build the logistics data baseline, developing and maintaining the Logistics Management Information / Logistics Product Data database per GEIA-STD-0007, including provisioning data, parts cataloging, sparing recommendations, and packaging data.
  • Catalog the hardware by establishing and maintaining National Stock Number, CAGE code, and part number structures; building and maintaining provisioning parts lists and supporting technical documentation.
  • Compute the sparing position by producing initial outfitting and sustainment spares computations, forward-positioned stock quantities, reorder points, and demand forecasts.
  • Update provisioning based on failure data by working failure reporting and corrective action outputs into provisioning and sparing data, flagging high-failure components, and recommending corrective logistics actions.
  • Build the support equipment data, developing the support equipment recommendation data and special tools baseline, and documenting test, measurement, and diagnostic equipment and calibration requirements.
  • Develop packaging, marking, and transportability data, producing packaging data and special packaging instructions per MIL-STD-2073-1, marking per MIL-STD-129, and transportability documentation per MIL-STD-1366.
  • Support container qualification and Performance Oriented Packaging certification, and support hazard classification submittals.
  • Develop ammunition lifecycle documentation, characterizing shelf life and storage conditions, documenting handling, transportation, and storage constraints, compiling surveillance and periodic inspection requirements, and addressing demilitarization and disposal.
  • Prepare ammunition data cards for missile deliveries.
  • Perform analysis in the customer’s tools, building models and generating customer reports using industry and government logistics software like Tempo, SlicWave, and Power Log-J.
  • Produce contract deliverables by authoring assigned logistics deliverables against government Data Item Descriptions on contractual due dates.
  • Prepare content and supporting rationale for customer reviews and draft responses to government comments.
  • Support test and demonstration events by contributing to logistics demonstration planning and execution, verifying tools, support equipment, and packaging adequacy.
  • Fold test findings back into the data.
  • Support the production transition by partnering with other teams to mature the support model and prepare the provisioning and packaging baseline for handoff.
  • Work with design engineers to extract necessary logistics data.
  • Write clear, direct technical documentation for government customer review.
  • Work independently on assigned deliverables in a fast-moving program environment.

Benefits

  • Highly competitive equity grants
  • Top-tier benefits for full-time employees
  • Comprehensive, competitive benefits package (available at little to no cost to employees) ensuring support in health, recovery, and future needs.
