Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Finance or similar
Expertise with SAP and Excel and Power Point skills
Strong analytical skills
Ability to manage and work effectively within cross-functional groups.
Ability to adapt quickly and be flexible in a dynamic environment
Should have advanced MS Excel and MS PowerPoint knowledge and skills.
Strong communication, both written (PPT presentations) and oral skills.
The ability to work either independently or in a team environment to achieve personal and team project goals, including the completion of assignments within and exceeding established time frames.
Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and any other related accounting software.
Ability to apply accounting and mathematical principles to work as needed.
Written and verbal communication

Nice To Haves

1-3 years in planning / risk management / finance in logistics environment (preferred)
Experience using advanced supply chain management, enterprise planning or financial planning systems is highly desired. (SAP, etc.)

Responsibilities

Monitor, analyze key operational/financial indexes on a regular basis
Find root causes for discrepancies between actual performance and forecast
Analyze issues, make reports/recommendations as requested by team leader / head of department
Investigate claim requests to determine if valid
Communicate with vendors to recover on claims
Gather and analyze claims related documentation
Support ad-hoc reports
