About The Position

The Logistics & Trade Specialist is part of Axon’s Global Logistics team and supports compliant, efficient, and scalable international transportation operations. The role applies expertise in international logistics, U.S. export controls, customs regulations, dangerous goods transportation, and air freight to coordinate daily shipments and navigate regulatory requirements. It offers opportunities to develop technical expertise, improve processes, and grow within Axon’s expanding Global Logistics organization.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in international logistics, export compliance, customs, or dangerous goods transportation, or equivalent practical experience.
• Working knowledge of ITAR, EAR, customs processes, air freight operations, and dangerous goods transportation regulations (IATA/DOT).
• Demonstrated experience coordinating international shipments with freight forwarders and customs brokers.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and cross-functional communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Relevant certifications such as LCB, CES, CCS, or DG/IATA.
• Experience with ERP systems such as D365.
• Experience in regulated industries.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute international air freight, time-sensitive shipments, and complex transportation activities.
• Work with freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and compliance.
• Prepare, review, and validate international shipping and dangerous goods documentation against ITAR, EAR, IATA, and DOT regulations.
• Track shipments and troubleshoot delays, customs holds, and operational exceptions.
• Support process improvement and automation initiatives for ERP-generated documentation and shipping workflows.
• Collaborate with Distribution, Trade Compliance, Procurement, Sales Operations, and Manufacturing.
• Assist with reporting, shipment analysis, and transportation cost optimization.
