About The Position

Join a third-party logistics team located at Willow Run airport. The Logistics Agent helps move freight efficiently by working with carriers to arrange timely pickup and delivery of manufacturing parts across the country. This role communicates with customers about shipping needs, coordinates resources, tracks shipments, and resolves logistics challenges. The position works a second shift from 3:30 PM to 11:30 PM, on either Sunday through Thursday or Tuesday through Saturday. The work environment is a fast-paced call center with cubicles. Employees work eight-hour shifts without a traditional lunch break and may eat while working. The position is hybrid, with four days onsite and one day remote after the first month. Shift premiums are available for hours worked from 3:30 PM to 7:30 PM and during weekends; applicable premiums can be combined. Overtime requires supervisory approval. This is a contract-to-hire position based in Belleville, Michigan.

Requirements

At least 2 years of customer service experience.
Proficiency in MS Office applications.
Ability to type at least 30 words per minute.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and with a sense of urgency.
Attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

Experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations.
Background in sales or negotiations, preferably in a call center or high-volume contact center.
Open to entry-level candidates without hands-on logistics experience.

Responsibilities
