About The Position

Bowhead is looking to hire a Logistician in Dahlgren, VA. The Logistician will be responsible for managing the development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Flowcharts, and Procurement Action-Tracker.

Requirements

• One to three (1-3) years of professional experience in a related field.
• Experience ensuring the adequate accountability and security of supplies and equipment.
• Knowledge of the principles, practices, responsibilities, and requirement of logistic support services, and the integration of supply, maintenance, and other support activities.
• Good execution, planning and prioritization skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Ability to work on multiple projects as well as the ability to work individually and on a team.
• Must be able to obtain a security clearance at the Secret level.
• US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.

Responsibilities

• Managing the development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Flowcharts, and Procurement Action-Tracker.
• Clarifying specifications with client/technical specialists to fully understand requirements.
• Conducting market research to identify sources that meet end-user specifications.
• Coordinating with Information Assurance Officers (IAO) to ensure Purchase Requests for hardware and software are associated with an approved Certification & Accreditation (C&A) package and listed in the hardware/software baseline prior to procurement package submission.
