About The Position

LMR Technical Group (LMR) is seeking a Logistician to join our team. This role performs Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) activities for the United States Coast Guard. The Logistician will plan, schedule, coordinate, and estimate complex tasks associated with products or services, such as design, development, acquisition, and maintenance, to ensure systems and equipment achieve required readiness and sustainability at an affordable life cycle cost. This position also develops and ensures requirements and implementation strategies comply with logistics directives and supportability parameters, and performs detailed analysis to integrate support considerations into the planning and/or design process, evaluating deliverables for technical adequacy and supporting the development of logistics acquisition milestone requirements.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 5 years of experience working with Integrated Product Support and sustainment programs.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Microsoft Office experience, including Word, Excel, and SharePoint.
  • Familiar with Military Documentation Standards (MILSTD).
  • Self-starter with the ability to work well with others.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Nice To Haves

  • Associates degree or higher is preferred.
  • Government provisioning, cataloguing, and parts QA experience.
  • 5-9+ years' experience working in a related field.
  • Background in Provisioning, Configuration Management, Ship Logistics, Design Interface Support and Training.
  • Coast Guard or Military experience with engineering technician or IT background.

Responsibilities

  • Review and continuously update Integrated Logistics Support Plans (ILSPs) for acquisition projects.
  • Perform complex logistics engineering analyses, including Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA), Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), and sparing/provisioning models to ensure alignment with fielding schedules.
  • Gather Bill of Materiel data to inform Supply Item Change Records submission into inventory control.
  • Develop, baseline, and maintain comprehensive Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) utilizing MS Project to track all acquisition, engineering, and logistics milestones.
  • Conduct Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) and obsolescence analysis on legacy aviation components.
  • Utilize specific tools and applications to include but not limited to WCC portal (SharePoint), PACT tool (SharePoint), Webflis, NATO, and Cage site to accomplish daily tasks.
  • Perform other duties as required.
